Limenas or Thassos Town is the beautiful capital town on the island with the charming old port. In this part of town, you can see numerous small fishing boats, cobbled streets full of souvenir shops and traditional products from Thassos. All over Limenas you can find plenty of places to eat or drink for every taste.
You can also enjoy walks or bike rides at the waterfront, the streets of the town with the colourful shops, and admire the archaeological spots of the ancient Amphitheater, the ancient Agora, the Acropolis and of course the archaeological museum.
